On 29 and 30 March, members gathered at the Pullman Paris Centre Bercy Hotel for the 34th ELA General Assembly weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, the ELA team met the families at the hotel reception to collect all the documents necessary for the weekend to run smoothly. Once the families had settled in, some took advantage of the visits and activities on offer in the capital, the spaces provided by the hotel, and of course the friends of ELA.
Others took part in the two discussion groups led by our psychologist Marie-Claude Blondeau. The first brought together relatives of a sick person, while the second was aimed at bereaved families. These moments of exchange are precious for the families, who can share their experiences in a caring environment and with people who understand them.
Then it was time for a festive evening in the presence of the association’s sponsors. Jérémy Charvet, Diane Dassigny and Emma Kabouche gave a concert that ended with dance with our other sponsors: Ludovic Baude, Agathe de la Boulaye, Morgane Frioux, Cécilia Hornus, Thierry Ragueneau, Rémy Riou and Claudia Tagbo.
Throughout the weekend, families could take photos of themselves against a background in ELA colours using the photobooth, thus keeping a souvenir of these shared moments.
On Sunday morning, President Crystelle Cottart opened the 34th ELA General Assembly.
The Assembly heard the annual reports and accounts for 2024:
The moral report was presented by Crystelle Cottart.
The activity report was presented by the Director Nadia Cerise.
The 2024 accounts were presented by the Treasurer Pascal Noirot. The auditor certified the conformity of the accounts and presented the regulated agreements for 2024.
Pascal Noirot presented the provisional budget for 2025.
All the resolutions were adopted unanimously.
Finally, the members voted by secret ballot for the renewal of the outgoing third of the board of directors. Christel Andrau, Hervé Lucas and Nathalie Verneuil were re-elected for a three-year term.
