Grenoble Foot 38 (GF38), through its GF Engagement CSR label, is supporting the fight against leukodystrophies! For a whole month, the club has been involved in a range of sporting and cultural activities.
A match dedicated to ELA
On Saturday 21st October, at the Ligue 2 match between GF38 and Valenciennes, the players wore a pink collector’s jersey designed by artist Kamal Hill and co-created by Jérémie Escalier and the GF38 and bearing the ELA logo. This unique model was on sale in the shop, with half the proceeds going to the charity. In addition, a donation of one euro was made for each match ticket sold.
Hugo, who suffers from leukodystrophy, and his parents were on hand for the kick-off. This wonderful moment of solidarity and sharing was an opportunity to highlight the daily lives of families affected by the disease and their fight alongside ELA.
A day of action, with trainers on
On Wednesday 22nd November, 71 young club members put on their trainers for ELA at the Stade des Alpes! First, they took part in the morning Dictation, read by Vincent Hognon. Vincent Hognon, currently coach of GF38, is also a former player with AS Nancy Lorraine and a loyal supporter of ELA.
After the Dictation, it was time for action with the “Mets tes baskets” (Wear your trainers) race around the stadium! Everyone symbolically lent their legs to children suffering from leukodystrophy.
Our warmest thanks to GF Engagement for its support!
