The Course des Héros for ELA
A great success for the 2024 edition of the Course des Héros!
The Course des Héros took place in Paris on Sunday 16 June in a festive atmosphere.
ELA would like to thank all the participants for lending their legs to children suffering from leukodystrophy during this charity run and for collecting donations for ELA.
The concept
It’s a race in name only, because it’s not timed. Whether you’re running with family, friends or colleagues, the important thing is to get together for an act of generosity!
Three routes are available:
• the 2km discovery trail, accessible to wheelchairs and joëlettes,
• the 5km walking course, which is not accessible to wheelchairs and joëlettes,
• the 8 km run, suitable for joëlettes.
No medical certificate is required to take part.
Since its creation, the Course des Héros has mobilized 12,000 participants, 400 companies and raised 18 million euros for 400 associations.
How does it work?
• When you register, you choose your beneficiary association and pay the registration fee (€13 for individuals and €29 for the family pack).
• Before the race, you can collect donations for this association by launching an Alvarum online kitty.
• To validate your registration, you need to reach a minimum fundraising threshold of €250 for individuals or €400 for families.
• The day of the race, you can choose the route of your choice and share a festive and convivial moment!
ELA and the Course des Héros, a long-standing relationship
Every year, parents of children suffering from leukodystrophy, as well as ELA supporters and sponsors, take part in this great gathering of solidarity!
