On Thursday 18 June, hundreds of companies in France, Belgium and Switzerland took part in the “Wear your trainers at work” challenge to raise funds for the fight against leukodystrophies. Employees accumulated their steps by walking and running to increase the amount of donations made to ELA.
For the first time, this event took place during Quality of Life and Working Conditions Week (SQVCT), which ran from 15 to 19 June. The participating companies therefore seized this opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of sport for their staff’s health.
At Mitsubishi Electric Europe, the day began with a warm-up led by coach Sabrina, before everyone set off on a solidarity walk during the lunch break. Over at Kering, our patron and honorary member Stéphane Diagana, a former elite athlete, gave a talk on the links between mental preparation and performance.
In France, Belgium and Switzerland, companies wore their trainers for a day to support the fight against leukodystrophies.
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to them for their support!
