Objectives<\/h2>\n

To give shop customers the opportunity to round up their purchase to the nearest euro at the till to help a cause.<\/p>\n

For example<\/span><\/strong>: at the till, a customer purchases for an amount of \u20ac14.67. He\/she asks for the amount to be rounded up to \u20ac15, and therefore makes a donation of 33 cents to ELA.<\/p>\n

This system is applicable to e-commerce sites.<\/p>\n

It is variable<\/span> depending on the number of clients and the duration.<\/p>\n

Duration<\/span><\/h2>\n

This can be a one-off operation<\/span> (several days or weeks) or a long-term operation<\/span> (several months or years).<\/p>\n

Description<\/h2>\n

Rounding up at the checkout is a solidarity-based operation that offers shop customers the opportunity to round up the amount of their purchase to the nearest euro<\/span> when they are at the till. The difference is donated to ELA.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> Rounding up is voluntary<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> It is calculated automatically<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> It is implemented in the payment system<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> The donation appears on the receipt, is not included in the company’s turnover and is not subject to VAT.<\/p>\n
