This year, nearly 900 people gathered from 22 to 25 August at Center Parcs Les Hauts de Bruy\u00e8res in Sologne.<\/p>\n

\u2018The association helps us to finally breathe, and that’s vital!\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2018The first ray of light after the diagnosis.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2018An incredible moment of relaxation!\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

This is what families say after a weekend of respite, which we have been organising for them for over 30 years.<\/p>\n

It is a unique opportunity for parents to talk to each other, discuss everyday life, share their doubts and hopes… Similarly, seeing children and their parents enjoying fun activities or sports away from the pressures of everyday life is more than heart-warming.<\/p>\n

A weekend focused on relaxation, wellbeing, meeting people and sharing experiences<\/h2>\n

Treatments to soothe body and mind<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Face and body massages:<\/strong> moments of deep relaxation, specially tailored to your needs.
\n\u2022 Magical massages:<\/strong> simple massage techniques and short stories to soothe children and share a moment of gentleness.
\n\u2022 Sound relaxation:<\/strong> immerse yourself in the rhythm of ocean drums, singing bowls and chimes for a soothing break.
\n\u2022 Introduction to yoga:<\/strong> a practice that can relieve everyday stress through a gentle approach that is accessible to all.<\/p>\n

Sport and dance: moving to feel free<\/h3>\n

\u2022 A variety of sporting activities:<\/strong> Nordic walking, boxing, fencing, boccia, rifle shooting and introductory diving sessions punctuated the weekend.
\n\u2022 Inclusive dance:<\/strong> choreographer Pamela once again highlighted the differences between able-bodied and disabled people through the dance she offers her \u2018disabled dancers\u2019.<\/p>\n

Meetings and exchanges: the importance of sharing<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Discussion groups<\/b>: led by our psychologist, these groups provided an opportunity to talk about daily life with the disease, share experiences and support one another.
\n\u2022 Space dedicated to women with the disease<\/b>: a time to discuss, understand one another and recharge among peers.
\n\u2022 Bowling for siblings<\/b>: a fun activity for children whose lives are affected by the illness of a loved one to make new friends.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

This weekend was a real success thanks to the loyal commitment of our contributors. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the diving instructors from the Comit\u00e9 Handi Sub r\u00e9gion Centre, dancer Pamela Bouthillier, photographer Andr\u00e9 Dobosz, socio-aestheticians C\u00e9line, Aurore, Camille, Coralie and Marine, adapted activities teacher Ga\u00eblle Ben Lahoussine, and the Hess family and Tiphaine Prin, who led the disabled sports workshops.<\/p>\n
